Description: Hotel Taurus is a superb 4-star hotel in the second district of Prague (Vinohrady), at the "Jiřího z Poděbrad" metro station of metro line A (green). From our hotel, you can reach Wenceslas Square, Old Town center and the National Museum in just a few minutes. In the surrounding area, you will find many shops and restaurants, along with the Flora Shopping Center. Near to Hotel Taurus, you will also find the New Jewish Cemetery, where the famous writer Franz Kafka has been buried. Enjoy a great view of Prague from the nearby Zizkov TV Tower: restaurant at 66 m, observation cabin at 93 m. Rooms of Hotel Taurus Hotel Taurus offers 57 rooms, mostly equipped with 19th-century antique furniture, others with modern furniture. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet, LCD-TV set with satellite channels, mini-bar, free wireless Internet connection, telephone, room safe, hairdryer, bathroom amenities and coffee/tea-making facilities (free of charge). Room types available: double (16 m2), twin (16 m2), triple (20 m2) with a double and a single bed, and quadruple room (26 m2) with a double and a sofa bed. One of the rooms is wheel-chair accessible. Total number of beds in the hotel: 138. All rooms are accessible by an elevator. Check-in is from 2 p.m., and check-out is until 10:30 a.m. Children under the age of 2 can stay in the room free of charge (cots are available). For older children and adults, we offer extra beds at the rate of 10 EURO/night. Pets are allowed in the room at no extra cost. Services The reception desk operates non-stop and it offers drinks, money exchange, city tours, excursions outside of Prague, taxi and laundry. We have a secure parking lot with 20 spaces and it is free of charge for hotel guests! Please reserve your parking place in advance. A warm buffet breakfast is included in the room rate: sausages, cheese, bakery products, vegetables, cereals, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, milk and egg dishes. In the lobby, you will find a PC station with free Internet access. In addition to the metro station, there is also a tram stop 100 meters from us: tram line 11, station "Jiřího z Poděbrad".
