Description: Best Western Hotel Smaragd is a three-star hotel with 4-star business services and conference facilities in the greenbelt area of Prague, not far from the Prague Airport. If you are on a holiday, you can access the city center easily by public transportation, and we also offer free and secure parking spaces. If you are coming by car, exit the E50 highway (Pilsen-Prague-Brno) to the South-western Barrandov quarter (sign: Filmové ateliéry Barrandov - film studio). Follow the signs to the film studio and our hotel will be on the left side, about 250 meters from the studio. From the airport, it takes about 15 minutes to get here, and we can arrange an airport transfer for you. The tram stop is about 300 meters from Hotel Smaragd (lines 12, 14 and 20), and the bus stop is only 50 meters away from us (lines 246 and 248). Metro (line B) station can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The Rooms We offer 41 double/twin rooms, and 4 apartments. The bathrooms either have a shower or a toilet, with a hairdryer. In the rooms, you will find a telephone, a TV, a radio, a mini-bar and Internet connection. Pets are allowed in the room, for an extra fee of 8 EURO/night. For children, we offer free accommodation until the age of 3, and a reduced 18 EURO/night price for an extra bed between ages 4-12. For payment, we accept the following major credit cards: AmericanExpress, Eurocard/Mastercard, JCB and Visa. Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate, and half-board / full-board meal plans are available as well. Dining Our restaurant serves a wide range of Czech and international meals, and it is very popular even among locals. We also have a snack bar and a winter garden, connected to the restaurant. Breakfast is served in the restaurant between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. The restaurant, snack-bar and winter garden are all open until 11 p.m. Conference Facilities Hotel Smaragd is a great site for celebrations, receptions, conferences and training programs. We are able to provide accommodation, conference rooms, catering and parking, along with the usual technical equipment needed. Let us know what you have in mind and we will prepare a business/conference package for you. Services We have a special room with wheelchair access, non-smoking rooms, safe, two conference rooms, exchange office, business services, room-service between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., and Internet access.
