Description: Luxury Boutique-Hotel Silenzio is located in the Hanspaulka suburb district of Prague (6th district), on the Southern slopes. This area of town is best characterized by 20th century functionalist architecture, First Republic villas, embassies, universities, colleges and headquarters of multi-national companies. In addition, there are lots of green areas around with fresh air, and the center of Prague can be reached easily by public transportation. Transportation Right by the hotel, you can get on tram lines 20, 26 and 2 (station Thákurova). These can take you either to Dejvická metro station, or to the center directly. If you wish to walk rather, you can get to Dejvická station in about 10 minutes. If you are coming by airplane to Prague, you can either take bus 119 from the Ruzyn? Airport to Dejvická metro station (see above), or we can book an Airport Transfer for you. If you wish to have this private transfer, please send us your flight number and arrival time in advance. If you are coming by train to Prague, you will get off either at Hole?ovice or at Hlavní nádra?í. From both railway stations, you can take the subway to Dejvická and then either walk to Hotel Silenzio, or take one of the trams for 1 stop. Our Rooms We have a total of 29 rooms and 3 apartments, some of which have a balcony as well. The rooms blend elements of Art-Deco and modern times. We have single, double and twin rooms. The comfortable and elegant rooms are equipped with a desk, telephone, free Internet, mini-bar, laptop-size safe, air-conditioning, fire-alarm, satellite TV, Pay-TV, secuirity lock and non-flammable carpet. In the bathroom, you will find a bathtub or shower, hairdryer and cosmetics mirror. One of the rooms has been designed to have wheelchair access. Baby cots and small toilet seats are available on request. Accommodation for children up to the age of 3 is free of charge, and it costs 20 EURO/night for children between 3 and 12 years of age in the apartment. We serve a rich buffet breakfast in the morning, with hot and cold meals, coffee, tea, etc. On the table, you will also find organic (bio) food and lots of fruits, vegetables. Room service is also available through the day. Services Our reception desk is open non-stop, and we are able to provide the following services: money, exchange, private transfers, tickets for cultural and sport events, table reservations, medical assistance, laundry, dry-cleaning, elevator, Wi-Fi access in all public areas of the hotel, secretarial services and meeting room for hire. We have our own parking lot, and it is free of charge for our guests. The hotel is protected by a camera system 24h. For payment, we accept the following credit cards: Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, Amex, Diners, JCB and Maestro. Lobby Bar and Conference Facilities The lobby bar uses leather and modern materials to create a tasteful and functional place where you can enjoy your breakfast or a drink during the day. In the summer, you can also sit outside on the terrace to celebrate the sunshine. In addition, we have a 60-seat lounge available for company and family events, with the possibility to rent data projectors, flip-chart, VCR, DVD player, Wi-Fi access and flat-screen TV. Additional Information Near Hotel Silenzio, you can visit the famous Müller Villa. It was built in 1930 and designed by the Viennese architect, Adolf Loos. It is very well-known in the Czech Republic, as a great example of unornamented constructivist architecture, and it ranks among the top 20th century villas worldwide. |
