Description: Hotel Red Lion is located in a 15th century burgher house in the historical center of Prague, close to the Prague Castle, overlooking the Royal Route. From our hotel, you can walk to the castle in ca. 5 minutes. The building has a rich history, and we have carefully preserved the special characters during the renovation. The cellar rooms of the restaurant are from the gothic period, while the original painted beam ceilings of the rooms and common areas reflect the works of the Renaissance era. The entrance area is of baroque style, while the facade relates to Peter Brandl, a famous altar painter from the 17th century, who was born and lived in this building. Our Rooms Hotel Red Lion offers accommodation in double rooms and spacious suites. All rooms have private bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, mini-bar, safe, telephone and satellite TV. The original period furniture creates a cozy and historical atmosphere, and the rooms also offer a great view of the Petrin Hill, the Royal Route and the Lesser Town roof-tops. Reception and Services Our reception is open 24-hours a day, and our staff will gladly help you with all your demands during your stay. We accept the major international credit cards for payment. The concierge will help you book sightseeing tours, provide tourist information, arrange taxi rides and car rental. Parking is available near the hotel, and we will gladly park your car there for you and bring it back any time you need it (paid service). We also provide faxing, photo-copying, scanning and Internet access. Laundry and dry-cleaning are available on request. Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 7 to 10 a.m., including a wide range of cold and hot meals. On request, breakfast can be delivered to your room. Public Transportation and Airport Transfer Take tram 12 or 22 to station "Malostranske namesti" in order to get to Hotel Red Lion. If you take the metro, get to line A (green line) and take it to station "Malostranska", then get on one of the previously mentioned tram lines. From the airport, the best way to get here is to book a Private Taxi Transfer. It costs 22 EURO for 1-4 persons, and all we need is the flight number and the arrival time in order to arrange it. Restaurant Red Lion Our restaurant is located on the ground floor, and in the cellar. It also has a separate wine room. You can order Czech and international cuisine, and we have 26-26 seats in the two sections, and 18 seats in the wine-room. SPECIAL OFFERS A single room costs 45 EURO/night, a double room costs 50 EURO/night and a triple room costs 65 EURO/night. Valid: Jan 9-31. |
