Description: Pension Platan is located in the historical city center of Prague, near the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, National Theater, State Opera and the medieval Jewish quarter (Josefov). The famous Wenceslas Square can be reached in ca. 10 minutes from our pension. Pension Platan is the best choice for visitors who are looking for a very central, yet affordable accommodation in Prague. Rooms We offer studios, studio apartments and standard apartments on the top floor of a recently renovated building. The building has an elevator. Each room has private facilities (shower and toilet), safety deposit box, SAT-TV, mirror, electric kettle, fan, hairdryer, radio with alarm clock, Wi-Fi Internet connection (free of charge). Internet connection is also available in the reception area. Microwave and laundry service are available upon request. Additionally, we provide ironing, various toys for children, a library, fridge, and air-conditioning in the corridor. Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Baby cots are available upon request. The apartments have a living room and 1 or 2 bedrooms, plus 1 or 2 bathrooms. They feature: SAT-TV, Wi-Fi, radio, safe, fan, kitchenette (toaster, fridge, microwave, electronic kettle, portable cooker/range with cooking and eating untensils, washing machine). Continental breakfast is included in the price of the apartment, and it is served in the apartment! Transportation The airport shuttle bus has a station near Pension Platan (only 300 meters), and it can take you to the airport in approximately 20 minutes. The price of the transfer is 120 CZK (ca. 4 EURO) / person. On request, we also arrange private airport transfers. The international bus and railway stations are both within walking distance of our pension (10 minutes). Near the pension, you will also find metro station Namesti Republiky (Line B), and tram stops of lines 5, 8, 14 and 26. Arrival Information Since our reception usually operates daily between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., if you arrive after 1 p.m., please follow the instructions below in order to get to your room. On the front gate of the pension building, there are two electronic safety-boxes (white box - on the right, black box - on the left). 1) enter the code, which will be sent to you in e-mail prior to your arrival, and wait a second. In the e-mail, we will also send you information on which safety box to use. 2) turn the dial clockwise (right) and wait a bit. 3) open the box and pick up the envelope with your name on it. The envelope holds your room key and the instructions. 4) close the box again and turn the dial anti-clockwise (left). 5) check to ensure that the box safe is locked again. 6) if you enter your code wrongly three times, you will have to wait 10 minutes before you can try again. If you encounter any problems, press the "PENSION PLATAN HELP LINE bell" for assistance. |
