Description: Our Platan Pension is situated in the historic centre of Prague - in the Old town - just few hundred meters from Old Town Square, medieval Jewish neighbourhood Josefov, Charles bridge, National Theatre and State Opera, and 10 minutes from Wenceslas Square. Pension Platan offers studio-rooms, apartments and a studio apartments in the heart of the Old Town. The rooms are located on the top floor of a recently refurbished building. The building has an elevator. Each room has ensuite facilities, private shower and WC, safe deposit box, satelite TV, mirror, electric kettle, fan, hairdryer, radio with alarm clock and WIFI connectionn. We also offer free internet use at the reception area. Microwave and laundry service are also available. Ironing, toys, library of books, air-conditioning and fridge are in the main corridor. Continental breakfast is included in the price and is served in the room. Every apartment has a living room (satellite TV, WIFI, radio with alarm, free safe dep. box, electronic fan) with kitchenette (toaster, fridge, microwave, electronic kettle, portable cooker/range with cooking and eating untensils, washing machine), 1 or 2 berdrooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms (shover or bathtub+ WC, hairdryer). Toys, library of books, air-condition and fridge are in the main corridor. Continental breakfast is included in the price and is served in the apartments. Pension Platan is the best choice for tourists who are looking for comfort and a pleasant accommodation in the very center of Prague, all for a reasonable price. Excellent connection to the airport: airport shuttle bus has it's terminal near the pension at V Celnici street - 300m to Platan (cost per person is only 120 CZK/ 4 EUR), journey time is about 20 minutes. Both the International bus station of Prague - Florenc and the Prague Main train station are located within walking distance ( 10 minutes ) from the pension. Private Airport Transfer between Prague International Airport and Pension Platan is available upon request. Please book this service at least 1 day prior to arrival. How to get there UNDERGROUND - line B, Namesti Republiky stop (2 minutes on foot) TRAM - lines 5, 8, 14, 26 (Tram stop in front of the pension) AIRPORT SHUTTLE - shuttle stops at street V Celnici (2 minutes on foot) MAIN TRAIN STATION - 3 stops by tram INTERNATIONAL bus stop FLORENC - 1 stop by Underground Services Breakfast included, Children for free (age 0-15), Free WIFI and Internet use in pension, Tea and coffee station, Safe deposit box in each room,baby cot available. We also offer a small library of books, board games and playing cards four our guests. We have toys for your children to play with. In the area of the pension: rent a car, money exchange office, banks, shopping center, tourist information office, hairdresser, river cruises, cinemas, drugstore, parking 300 meters away (not included in the room rate), park, many bars and restaurants, airport transfer terminal. Arrival Information Since our reception usually operates daily between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., if you arrive after 1 p.m., please follow the instructions below in order to get to your room. On the front gate of the pension building, there are two electronic safety-boxes (white box - on the right, black box - on the left). 1) enter the code, which will be sent to you in e-mail prior to your arrival, and wait a second. In the e-mail, we will also send you information on which safety box to use. 2) turn the dial clockwise (right) and wait a bit. 3) open the box and pick up the envelope with your name on it. The envelope holds your room key and the instructions. 4) close the box again and turn the dial anti-clockwise (left). 5) check to ensure that the box safe is locked again. 6) if you enter your code wrongly three times, you will have to wait 10 minutes before you can try again.
