Description: Hotel Metropol is a new 4-star design hotel in the first district of Prague, a few minutes walk away from Old Town Square, Tyn Church, Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square, National Theatre and the National Library with the Mirror Chapel. Our hotel has nine stories and an all-glass façade. Enjoy a wonderful view of the Prague Castle from the rooftop sun deck and experience why Prague is often referred to as the "City of a Hundred Spires" as you look towards the cityscape. Rooms Hotel Metropol has 64 double/twin rooms, out of which 4 can be joined with an adjacent room in order to create a suite for families and groups of friends. One of the rooms is suitable for wheelchair access, and it can also be joined together with an adjacent room. In the elegant rooms, you will find comfortable orthopaedic beds with ergonomic five-zone latex sandwich mattresses, thick/soft carpets, all-glass front wall, laptop-size safe, broadband Internet connection, 27,5-inch LCD with satellite channels, pay-TV, bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, cosmetics mirror and telephone with favourable rates on international calls. Dining and Services Café Metropol is a non-smoking restaurant offering light and modern cuisine with a Mediterranean accent. Do not forget to try the Czech classics! It is open daily between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. On workdays, we have a special business lunch menu for a discount price. Breakfast is also served here. During the summer months, enjoy a barbecue dinner on the roof terrace. We offer an air-conditioned, fully-equipped conference room for small-scale events. Technical equipment, such as projector, screen, flip-chart, Wi-Fi Internet and outlets can be provided.
