Description: Hotel-Restaurant Konvice, run by the Müller & von Wallbrunn family, is located in the center of Cesky Krumlov, a few steps from the town square. The history of our building dates back to the middle of the 16th century, and it has been completely renovated and re-constructed. All rooms are unique in the hotel, and our restaurant has 130 seats. Our Rooms Chamber 3: two-bedroom apartment with a common entrance hall. The two bedrooms have their own entrance from the hall, providing a little more privacy than ordinary apartments. The apartment has high oak ceiling and parquet, and provides a first-row view of the annual "celebration of the rose" event. Chamber 6: this room has a great view of old part of Cesky Krumlov and the castle tower. During the summer months, you can enjoy, from the room, the baroque guitar sounds of the "Krumlov Guitar Duo", who play on the hotel terrace twice a week, or inside the restaurant on rainy days. Chamber 8: spacious apartment, ca. 60 m2 in size, with fully-equipped kitchen. Chamber 9: a great place to relax, with a magnificent walnut tree standing close to the window. Chamber 11: this suite is perfect for a family of 4, with two separate bedrooms. The bathroom has a shower, bathtub, bidet and toilet. The apartment has a balcony, and breakfast or dinner can be served here on request. Chamber 12: lay your tired head on this bed and look up to the five hundred years old, carved timber ceiling, and the ambience will take you back to the medieval times. Children under the age of 6 can stay in the bed of their parents free of charge. For children between 6 and 14, the extra bed costs 350 CZK (app. 14 EURO)/night. For older children and adults, extra beds are available at the price of 500 CZK (app. 20 EURO)/night. Baby beds are available free of charge. Well-trained pets are permitted at no extra cost. Restaurant and Café Restaurant Konvice serves warm meals from 8 in the morning until 10 in the evening, every day of the week. We have about 130 seats, so we are able to serve larger groups as well. Traditional Bohemian and international cuisine is made of fresh local produce, while fish and game is provided by local fishermen and rangers. All the sweets and cakes are made by our chef as well. We also have a range of home-made fruit spirits: plum, pear, wild cherry, apple, apricot or herbs. Live guitar music twice a week. The Sunny Terrace We have a wind-protected terrace with a great view of the town, where you can enjoy a Budweiser or Pilsen beer, Italian coffee or home-made cakes. The Reception The reception of Hotel Konvice is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. In february, only until 7 p.m. If you are planning to arrive later than this, please let us know in advance. |
