Description: Hotel Černý Slon (Hotel Black Elephant) is a luxury 4-star hotel in the heart of the historic city center of Prague (1st district), in close vicinity to the famous Old Town Square. History of the building traces back to the 14th century, and it is a Unesco listed world heritage. We have renovated this old building in order to combine the atmosphere of history and modern comfort for 21st century travelers. Rooms of Hotel Černý Slon There are 35 beds in a total of 16 rooms in our hotel, offering a view of the Ungelt area (built by Charles IV) and the Týnský Church. The rooms are equipped by private bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer, toilet, bidet, safety-deposit box, mini-bar, wardrobe, mirror, desk, SAT-TV, telephone and Internet connection. Available room types: single room, double room, twin room and triple room (with double + single bed, or three single beds). Location Our luxury Gothic hotel with its preserved unique roof truss, one of the oldest in Prague and the Czech Republic, is located a 1-minute walk away from the Old Town Square. Therefore, the Astronomical Clock, the Church of Our Lady before Týn and all the restaurants, pubs and bars are within walking distance as you step out the door. In the vicinity of the hotel, you will also find the Old Jewish Cemetery (5 minutes walk), the Spanish Synagogue with the Jewish Museum (5 minutes walk), Wenceslas Square (10 minutes walk) Charles Bridge (15 minutes walk), Lesser Town (20 minutes walk) and the Prague Castle (40 minutes walk). Restaurant Černý Slon and Wine Bar BANDOL Come and enjoy traditional Czech specialties and modern international cuisine, including roast pork with cabbage and dumplings, roast duck, delicious steaks (Argentine sirloin), fish and salads. Home-made desserts and vegetarian meals are also available. To accompany your meal, we offer selected Italian, Spanish, French and Moravian quality wine and refreshing Pilsner Urquell. The restaurant is open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The wine-house is open from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., with hot meals until 1 a.m.!!! It is also a perfect place for business meetings and family events. Airport Transfer If you are coming to Prague by airplane, we would gladly arrange a private taxi transfer from the Prague Airport to Hotel Black Elephant. Price of the transfer is 22 EURO/transfer for 1-4 persons, and minivans are also available. |
