Description:

Hotel Aureus Clavis is a small romantic hotel, housed in a Gothic building, in one of the most famous streets in the heart of Malá Strana in Prague. The major tourist destinations, like Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and the old Jewish quarter are all within walking distance of us.

Near the hotel, there are metro, bus and tram stops, and you can get to any place of interest in Prague quickly by public transportation. In addition, there are several shops, shopping centers and exhibition halls nearby Hotel Aureus Clavis. We can assure you of an attentive service and an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness. There is a stylish lounge bar and a good restaurant in our hotel.

Our Rooms
We have 27 rooms in total on three floors and an attic. Some are standard double and triple rooms, some are economy doubles, and we also have an apartment. All rooms feature free wireless Internet access and a satellite TV.

The rooms blend classic with contemporary style, and the spirit and design of the original architects have been preserved during the renovations. All rooms have private facilities, and the bathrooms have either shower or bathtub. Baby cots and extra beds are available on request.

Every room has a different design and size, and every room offers something special: an attic setting, wooden ceilings or beams, a lovely view of Prague Castle or of Prague Gardens, well-lit work desks for business travelers, luxurious antique decor, plainer interiors for tourists on a budget, comfortable lodging for a family, and so on. We recommend that you specify your preferences when making your room request or reservation.

We can arrange a private airport transfer from Prague International Airport to Hotel Aureus Clavis on request. Transfers back to the airport are also available.

Cancellation policy:

  • Bookings for 1-6 room nights: the reservation may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours prior to arrival, otherwise 1 night is to be charged.
  • Bookings for 7-21 room nights: the reservation may be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival, otherwise 2 nights are to be charged.
  • Bookings longer than 21 room nights: cancellation free of charge up to 30 days prior to arrival, otherwise the total cost of accommodation is be charged.
