Description: You have come to the right place if you are looking for an affordable, yet comfortable accommodation in the center of Prague! Hostel Arpacay is not way out of the city center like most cheap guesthouses, but in the Smichov quarter, near the famous Staropramen brewery and lots of excellent shops, restaurants, Cafés and bars. Tram nr. 7 can take you to Old Town in a few minutes, and Wenceslas square is only about a 7 minute metro ride away from us (station Mustek). Our Rooms and Apartments Hostel Arpacay offers various room types, and altogether 78 beds. We have double and twin rooms, triple rooms, and rooms with 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 beds. Two or three rooms share one sanitary facility, which is outside in the hallway. We also have apartments for 2 persons: bedroom with double bed, kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. The apartment for 8 persons has a triple room, a twin room, 3x extra beds in the living room, bathroom and a toilet inside. The rooms are located in two separate buildings, just across the street from each other: Arpacay Red and Arpacay Green. Both buildings have their own reception and breakfast room. The dormitories are equipped with free personal lockers and reading-lamps for everyone. Free Internet access in all rooms (5 PCs in each room, plus Wi-Fi connection). We have three fully-equipped kitchens at the disposal of our guests. The guests staying in the apartments have their own little kitchenette, but the others can share these kitchens. It is absolutely self-service. Services Our reception is open from 7 in the morning till midnight. If you are planning to arrive after midnight, let us know in advance. There is no curfew at the hostel. As a guest, you will have your own key not only to your room, but also to the main entrance. On your departure day, check-out is until 10 a.m. We have a free luggage room, just in case you would arrive earlier then check-in or depart later than check-out. We have a roof terrace with a splendid view of Prague. Breakfast We serve breakfast between 7 and 10 a.m., and it includes the likes of ham, cheese, jam, butter, bread, cornflakes, milk, coffee, tea and juices. The Area There is a large shopping mall (Novy Smíchov) only 500 meters from our hostel. It has cinemas, a post office, a swimming pool, retail bank units and a Tesco store. It is open every day until midnight. Also, there are several restaurants and pizzerias. Parking Parking spaces are available at the nearby Na Knizeci garage, for a daily fee of 160 CZK. The garage is located only 300 meters from Hostel Arpacay. Parking cards are available at the reception desk. We are able to arrange a cheap airport taxi for your transfer needs between Prague International Airport and Arpacay Hostel. |
